About SEA Future Microgrants
At Sustainability Education Alliance, we believe that economic development of other communities, initiatives, and social programs is pivotal to a global approach to sustainability. The SEA Futures Microgrant Program reinvests in communities through practical education, ethical action, and culturally grounded sustainability solutions consistent with SEA’s mission, vision, and values.
The program will launch in January 2026, with awards allocated each quarter. Award amounts will range from $1,000 - $2,000 (USD)
Applications will stay open until June 2026.

Track A — Stewardship of the Land (Regenerative Action Grants)
Track B — Education for All (Sustainability Learning Mini-Grants)
Track C — People, Culture & Small Business (Community Stewardship Grants)
Track D — Black Communities Reparations & Initiatives (Reparative Justice Grants)
Eligibility

Be a member of Sustainability Education Alliance as either: Community group, small business, school, nonprofit, public institution, or individual project lead (fiscal sponsor recommended).

Agrees to reporting and documentation requirements.

Not a SEA owner or immediate family member.
Selection Criteria

Delivers community benefit and ecological stewardship.

Respects and uplifts local culture and knowledge.

Supports small businesses and community resilience.
